ECNC Fall Season Prize Giving

It's that time of the year again - PRIZE GIVING! You and your family and friends are invited to ECNC Fall Season Prize Giving event.

Date: December 4th, 2009

Time: 7:00pm

Location: Wilde Rover (111 Central Way, Kirkland, WA 98075)
Cost: $30 (includes a glass of champagne and a 3 course meal)

Theme: What happens in Vegas (which kind of means you can wear whatever you want)

We will start with the prize giving and moving onto a secret santa.  We are trying to get a roulette table as well so it should be a lot of fun.  As you know if you are over 21 you have entry into the main area where a band will be on and you can shake your stuff.  We hope to see you all there!

Fall Season 2009

 
SEASON DATES
 

Fall Season is now over.  It was another great season with some great games and some interesting weather conditions.  The Seahawks won the league on points to get into the final however the trophy was won by the Sounders who played an awesome final.  It was a closely fought game and the best team won on the day - congratulations to Richard, Sue, Emma, Jason, Orla, Clare, Mwiche and Kylie.

The runner up final was won by the Storm who played the Mariners.

Thanks to everyone who turned up week after week to play in the rain.

Many thanks to Belinda for sorting out the teams each week and to the captains Karen, Anna, Jason and Richard for organising.

Many thanks to our umpires Belinda and Heather and to our traineee umpires Karen, Anna and Becky.

Another great season.  We will soon be sending out a survey monkey to get your feelings on the season and how you would like the Spring season to run.

Spring season will start in March but we are putting together some games in Canada for January and Feb.  Watch this space.

President - Emerald City Netball Club

In August, members of the ECNC club attended the Healthy Hearts Day at Seward Park in Seattle.  This is held every year and is a fun day out for all the family.  ECNC set up a court and asked people to join them.  We had all men, women and kids playing netball for the first time and thoroughly enjoying it.  Photos here!

TRAINING

All trainings are held at Ballard Community Center, 6020 28th Avenue NW, Seattle, WA 98107 on Thursday evenings from 7pm - 9pm.  Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary. Training will resume again in March 2010.

There is a charge of $2 per person payable to the community center on arrival.

YOUTH PLAYERS WANTED!

We are looking for players of all ages to start a Youth Netball League.  No experience is necessary as full coaching of the game will be provided.
